Bug fixes: fog of war and crowded maps
A few things reported since fog of war shipped, now fixed:
- A wormhole could strand a planet out of sight for good. Flinging a planet to a new spot — or pulling away whichever planet bridged some other planet to the rest of the map — could leave it farther than vision range from everything else, with no way to ever discover it. A wormhole now re-checks and repairs that connectivity guarantee immediately after it moves a planet.
- Fixing that connectivity could itself misplace a teammate's planet. The repair pass used to move only the single closest planet in a stranded group to reconnect it, which could drag a teammate's chained home planet away from the rest of their team while patching a gap somewhere else entirely. It now shifts a whole stranded cluster together, so planets that were already in sight of each other stay that way.
- Events on an undiscovered planet vanished instead of being described. A black hole, wormhole, rebellion or attribute drift happening somewhere your team hadn't explored used to disappear from the event log entirely. It now still shows up — "a black hole swallowed an unexplored planet" rather than naming it — so you know something happened without fog of war spoiling where.
- Planets could show no ship count or attack/defense/production at all, even with plenty of room around them. One crowded cluster anywhere on the map was forcing every planet's labels down to the sparsest style, including ones with nothing nearby. Each planet's labels are now sized independently, based only on its own neighbours.
- Tabbing through the login page could land somewhere unexpected. The Log In / Create Account toggle could end up in the tab order. Tab now moves straight through the username, email and password fields to the submit button, and nowhere else.
